WP 2.6 WTH: Where’s the Button?

Some n00b WordPress developer apparently thought it would be funny to remove the Image button in the WYSIWYG editor. Well it isn’t. Do you have any idea how often I insert images into my posts? Often enough I shouldn’t have to tab into HTML mode and do it manually.

I don’t use the WYSIWYG editor…so I may not notice. Did you check if there is a “media button” instead?

There’s been a media-button thingy since 2.5 for uploading an image. But normally I throw it on Tinypic or another image host, then use the Image button and paste in the URL. A lot quicker than doing it manually.

Oooohhh…. They moved it to in the Media function. There’s a “from URL” field now. :D
