In addition to being able to be more secure, you can spread out and use it how you want, customise it the way you like (though I suppose user accounts allow for that to a point…). I have a MacBook that I use for my blogging and development work. But whether you’re the sole user of a computer or not, you still need to keep up with maintennance, and stay extra vigilant of threats if you use Windows.
