June 2008’s featured WordPress theme is DarkZen, by Daily Blog Tips.
DarkZen is a fairly clean theme with a decent-sized content area and sidebar. There are spaces for 125×125 ads, as well as a banner slot in the header.
The sidebar has 320 pixels of horizontal space, and there is support for split areas (e.g. two lists of links side by side).
The theme would work well as-is, and it’s a great starting point for modifying to create a more unique design for your blog.
